Pray for Shiloh

Please pray for our dog Shiloh. She is at the Emergency Clinic! Shiloh got hit by a car and is severely hurt.....

A nightmare is happening (again), let me wake up.

UPDATE: Shiloh made it alive to the emergency clinic, and they were able to stabilize her. They stopped the bleeding, and x-rays were inconclusive as to any damage. There was no obvious fractures or breaks in her bones!

It looks like she took the hit directly on her "forehead", which actually is probably the best place on the head to get hit... most solid bone. She and Todd were almost home from a walk last night, when she slipped out of her collar and ran into the path of the only car on the road at the time! Todd reports it was a horrible sight to see her skidding along the pavement after the impact... right to the edge of the trash pile! Then to have the growing pool of blood around her head... ugh.

This morning, at the emergency clinic, her eyes were open, and she seemed to be somewhat responsive, although she didn't wag her tail for Todd. The Vets say that the next 36 hours are critical for determining how much damage was caused by the head trauma. But, at least she is alive and resting... we and she have a chance!
