SATURDAY MISSION IN CANILE

We had a sunny, lovely day and new volunteers that were so great to the dogs, and they sure did walk dogs! One of the volunteers left us to go on a 12 hour shift. She choose to walk dogs instead of sleeping. Wow, now that was amazing! A new pup with the biggest paws got a lot of treats and love, what a sweet-heart.

And we had food donations with us. Malte and Sabine thank you for your donations of bags, and Anna at the NEX for calling me again and telling there were more to pick up. You make many that are hungry so much happier...Darren our "old trooper" and Patrick carrying bags in.

Darren's son joined us and he was a SUPER trooper. He earned an AWL t-shirt the same day. He walked so many dogs, cleaned the puppy kennels and the best thing was; He came up to us asking many times, "What can I do now?" Amazing! We want you to join us all the time!

Some walked dogs, some danced!

And with us we had Bonita (formerly Linda) She stayed in the car and also got nice walks, but she didn't have to go back to her old home. That was a good feeling.

What a day! Thank you everyone for making a big difference for these dogs, and the spirit was on top. I got many laughs...that's Amore!
