The Children Knows Already the Universal Truth

In raising my children, I've never taught them any specific Religon. I raised them to be polite, truthful, helpful and loving children. To respect People, Animals,
Nature and Life, as most major Western religions in one fashion or another.

I wanted them to find their own truth, their beliefs, not to have me as a parent directing or forcing them. Children are amazing with their brightness, if we only listen to them. Many times we are in hurry, we get frustrated when our child is taking to long explaining about something they dreamt about, or explored in real life.

When my children saw someone being bullied, I wanted them to step in and say NO! (or go quickly and get an Adult.)

And if someone was mean to them, to try their best to understand that it wasn't anything about them. Anger comes from an unhappy heart.

We travel a lot and meet many different kind of people and try to observe their beliefs. Our little town where we live is filled with the inhabitants of many different cultures.

Suddenly, at an age of thinking, reasoning and questioning everything, Olivia and Max became aware of life in a different, more determined way.

We had a small fire in our house, not long ago, and after a year with many"life bumps " my tired mind said in a self pity way (I don't like self pity parties)

"I don't think God loves me!"

I thought I was alone with those words in the room, when I suddenly hear my daughter (11 years-old) say behind me,

"Why wouldn't he, he created you!"

Wasp Sanctuary

I found James the Wasp laying on the ground in our living room. His poor little wings were covered in dog hair--well we got 12 dogs--James was exhausted.

Olivia my 10 year old daughter and me, carried him into the kitchen. I have always told my children to respect all kind of creatures, even those who stings.

Olivia got badly stung as a younger child, and was a little scared in the begining handling James. But when she looked at me being gentle and concentrated, her fear started to disolve slowly.

Its interesting and a fun way to get to know an insect better. Olivia came with her horse fence, we made sure to secure it on the sides, so little James wouldn't fall out. Sallad, apple and a honey nut cheerio together with my home made honey juice served via a syringe.

I asked Olivia to do research, (homework) on wasps, and to our surprise, they only live 12-23 days!!! I giggled a little, think if James was ready to die, his days are up. Here we are doing everything to keep him a live.

Yesterday, he started his wings and danced a little for us. Maybe a message!

However, it is an interesting way to learn about someone else.

James Wasp is having his own sunlamp oh....did you know, that bees only can sting ones, but wasps several times! James, you better keep your lower part to yourself. Stay strong Amigo.

Children and Animals

The most breathtaking love is to watch a child and an animal communicate together.

Det vackraste jag vet är att se mina barn tillsammans med djur. Det är en sådan stor kärlek som strålar  mellan dem, och omkring dem.
