CHRISTMAS MARKET in GERMANY

Amazing Christmas Markets in Germany. There are so many to chose between. This year we chose a castle up on a Mountain. It was incredible beautiful.

It kept me thinking though how people back at that time got all food and drinks up. It was steep!
Gladly, we got to say hello to St Nicholas.
Crowded.

Me and handsome boy, Max,

It was very cold and windy, but the well tasted glue wine tasted much better then.

Never Let Your Voice be Silent

Stop telling us women what we are going to do to be not violated. Tell the men instead to stop violate women!
At least 90 women were being harassed and violated New Years eve in Koln, Germany. Kolns Mayoress had after the incident said that women should keep themselves an arms length away from male strangers.
Is it strange that this statement wakes anger and hate among women?(and fear) (info taken from advokat Fritz)
Before New Years eve, in the middle of the day, Olivia (10y) took Chacha our big heavy Cane Corso out for a walk in our little German Village. After only ten minutes Olivia comes running home, scared but thankful.
A group of older boys had come walking towards her. They were laughing, and one said something to her. She didn't understand what they were saying, its was not in English or German or Swedish) The boy was coming closer and tried to grabb her arm! Chacha (our dog) that loves people started to growl and showed them her teeth. Everybody continued to laugh and backed away.
We never saw them again, and it hasn't happen again...but the main point is that it made Olivia scared in an uncomfortable way. Not like when the boys on the street tees her -- like "normal" boys do in their innocent age.
I remember one event in Sweden, in my neighbourhood. A woman got raped on her way home. The police wrote it off since according to "them" she had had a very short skirt and proably invited the event herself.
What signals does this give out to the men? (and women)
Never let your voice be silent.....

COLORFUL HIPPY MOM!

I never thought I would see myself in a store with wonderful fabrics. Me, who is not talented of designing or making clothing with fabrics. I can have ideas, but don't know what or how to cut, or lay it out, or sew. But I found this sweet and wonderful store, in the town were I live. The owner is  talented and has a very welcoming heart. Two wonderful friends, Kirsten and Gerda, invited me to join the creative group every Wednesday mornings. My friends are making clothing and I am starting out with wonderful curtains for my own hobby room. Beautiful Butterflies!
I simply cannot wait to see them hung up!

Yesterday, I went to Tubingen and passed a store that had this jacket that I am wearing in the pictures. I couldn't resist it! In daylight it is more colorful but I love the material and the Peace signs.

Another for an early birthday present for me! I know, my birthday is in October but why wait? This bag, my husband bought for me.

The gorgeous neckless I found on line, and normally I never buy on line-- (except for books). But I couldn't let the image go and I found the store to order it in the UK.

So Happy Birthday Mia....like I said...why wait?!

That's Amore!
