Thank you Purina

At the Appriciation Day on base in Italy I was overwhelmed by gratitude to these people next to me (I'm in the middle)

They Representatives from Purina and donated food that we could bring with us to the shelter after the day!

Thank you so much for your love to all dogs.

Welcome Home Mom

One thing is totally fantastic and that is to come home to 12 happy tails greeting me by the gate after being gone on a mission trip!
It's even better to come home when the sun is shining and we all can together walk in the garden and look at new flowers popping up!

ChaCha by the pond looking and trying to catch the frogs. Me yelling at her with a motherly voice.

I love meeting people and listening to their stories. However, it is wonderful to return home to my home and in silence walk around in my garden in totally harmony.

That's Amore!

Working Weekend up in Luhmuhlen

Me and my children went with me on a working trip up to the wonderful horse place in Salzhausen. There are thousands of horses and the nature is so beautiful. We had the weather on our side, sunny and warm. I could even sit in a pasture working with horses.

We stayed at good friends and their horses were so curios on my children, and they on them. Max and Olivia were sitting in the window several times a day. The sun was gazing warm and relaxing.
This is how it can look like when I work. It is such a wonderful job and I feel so blessed to meet so many horses with wonderful charisma's and knowledge.
Max visited his favorit horse at the riding arena. we don't know his name but Max and him got a very strong connection.
Working with clever minds. We first met when he was 9 years old, now he is over twenty years old!
Kids were grateful for Rolf that brought them with him to the riding arena when he was going to ride. They love him so much!
When Max came back home his friends asked him where he had been? 'With my mom at her work. She is reading animals minds!'

He is so handsome my son!
Animals and children read each other in a couple of seconds. No hidden agendas there!

I am grateful to met so many fabulous animals and their owners. Thank you all for an amazing time.

See you again!

ChaCha the life is about me

Working with animals shows me how every day is not the same as the others. Every dog I meet has its own character if not being raised by a dominant owner.
Many stray dogs has to think for themselves to survive the streets, humans and to hunt! Every pack got a lot of different characters.

This is ChaCha. She is absolutely her own personality! She will have her own chapter in the new book that I'm writing on right now!

She is a true Primadona and we tried to go to dog school with her! Didn't work!

What ChaCha want, ChaCha does'

Wasp Sanctuary

I found James the Wasp laying on the ground in our living room. His poor little wings were covered in dog hair--well we got 12 dogs--James was exhausted.

Olivia my 10 year old daughter and me, carried him into the kitchen. I have always told my children to respect all kind of creatures, even those who stings.

Olivia got badly stung as a younger child, and was a little scared in the begining handling James. But when she looked at me being gentle and concentrated, her fear started to disolve slowly.

Its interesting and a fun way to get to know an insect better. Olivia came with her horse fence, we made sure to secure it on the sides, so little James wouldn't fall out. Sallad, apple and a honey nut cheerio together with my home made honey juice served via a syringe.

I asked Olivia to do research, (homework) on wasps, and to our surprise, they only live 12-23 days!!! I giggled a little, think if James was ready to die, his days are up. Here we are doing everything to keep him a live.

Yesterday, he started his wings and danced a little for us. Maybe a message!

However, it is an interesting way to learn about someone else.

James Wasp is having his own sunlamp oh....did you know, that bees only can sting ones, but wasps several times! James, you better keep your lower part to yourself. Stay strong Amigo.

That's Amore!

VECKANS KRONIKA TIDNINGEN NARA

Ingen kunde argumentera emot henne.

See New Things in Life

Grandma must have been smiling at our faces this morning when we woke up to this beautiful  view!
Mother Nature is joking with us in its own fantastic way. The funeral will be tomorrow. We spoke to tha Pastor yesterday in poring rain and cold winds.
The weather is absolutely joking with us!
Grandpa is a wonderful man hanging in there! When looking at him so many questions comes up inside of me about life.
I cannot image the pain losing your partner after 65 years together!
Grandpa told us yesterday that he spoke to Grandma and told her he would soon be there together again!

Life is so beautiful and painful. Namaste!

Wait Grandma

We certainly don't talk much about death, and especially not to our children. I told my ten year old daughter that her grandma was soon going to die. Grandma was now in a Hospice.

"I want to go and meet her." my daughter said in a determined way.
I thought for a minute and then I said to her, "Honey, she won't be there in her mind. Grandma is not aware what is going on!"
Olivias eyes teared up, "But she will be there in her heart!"

How can you argue with someone that is right.

Emergency tickets to fly over to the States were made,  and Grandma....wait....we are coming!
